Photos:Fully Loaded Petrol Tanker Fails Brake, Somersaults Then Explodes

No fewer than 15 individuals lost their lives after a truck laden with 33,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit lost control and slammed into vehicles in the Kirikiri region of Lagos State on Tuesday.

 An eye witness learnt that the truck part all its substance, which lighted a flame, blazing 11 vehicles and 60 shops.

The Director of the state blaze administration, Razaq Fadipe, said the flame was presumably created by a suya vender, who was making utilization of flame at the transport stop.

A business transport driver, Murhi Lawal, who spoke to columnists while sobbing abundantly, said his transport was totally devoured by the flame.

It was learnt that the first responders to the scene were Capital Oil, Julius Berger and Swift Oil, which all conveyed water trucks to put out the blazes.
An eye witness learnt that 60 shops, which are arranged in an extra parts business sector were additionally blazed.

The President, Berger Business Community, Mr. Okey Udeagba, said in regards to five dealers were harmed and had been raced to a healing center.

The agent, National Emergency Management Agency, South-West zone, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the blaze was put out around 1am.

Farinloye said, "Fifteen forms were recouped by NEMA and the police. The flame was put out by a joined group of elected and state blaze administration men. The flame kept going for around the range of three hours and 60 shops were influenced and in addition vehicles."See photos below.....
